Detection programs seem to think my default clocks are 814/625 but GPU-z shows 775/625 (the correct stock frequencies for this card) if I use any program to change this I can get the memory to change frequency but not the core? It just stays stuck at 775mhz, any ideas?

    What programs did you use?
Use Nvidia System Tools 6.06 with ESA support

    Ohhhhh, I lost my rep(

However... Still I suggest you to use it.
It lets you to create different clocks profiles and let you create rules of using it!
    Example:
enable High performance Profile when I launch game and temperature is lower than 60 degree.
OR enable Performance profile when temperature is above 60 degree. And other.
Or Post sound signal when temperature is higher than 90 degrees.
You can choose temperature, games, launching, stopping, and other.

It's really useful and it builts itself in Nvidia menu. Need a screenshot?

Me too :) Fine. I just use it because it will automatically increase clocks when I launch game and they put stock clocks again when I stop. Also It make a sound notification when temp of GPU goes above 65 or 67 degrees. My temps are really low :)

Well out of game you should drop to a lower power state anyway.
