Problem will be structural at the max. Internal components don't look affected. (Since only some wires pass through this hinge)

Just make sure it doesn't break more.

It looks like the LCD bezel is cracked, not a broken hinge.

If it's only the plastic part is cracked a new one can be purchased or the cr
ack can be epoxied on the reverse surface.

Each model is a bit different.

If there are little round rubber screw covers in the corners of the LCD bezel it means that the screws under them will need to be removed 1st before a plastic knife/guital pick can be inserted between the bezel and LCD housing to separate the bezel from lcd housing.

The screw covers are held on with a tacky adhesive.

If there are no screws then the bezel is only snapped to the housing. There may also be some double sided tape holding the bezel to the LCD.

Looking at the pics in the Link you provided, it does appear to have those rubber covers in the top corners.

Having had experience with those kinds of things myself on an old laptop of mine in the past (wasn't an MSI or anywhere close to a gx740) but they simply peel off (have a sticky/tacky glue on them so can just be put back afterwards) and will reveal a hidden screw.
