Hi. I live in London, United Kingdom and soon I will be importing a MSI GT72s laptop from Germany. Does anyone know what equipment I will need to buy in order to use it? I will need an adaptor of some sort in order to plug it into a UK mains plug socket but not sure on which one.

    Any help is appreciated.

Oh so just a standard EU to UK travel adapter will work fine? figured I might need to get one with a special voltage or something. I've got one of these lying around my room somewhere, came with an Chinese tablet I ordered a while back.

The bricks will accept 110-240v so they are universal. You can order a kettle plug lead if you don't have a spare and plug it straight into the wall without an adapter.

    Hey Meaker, do you have in stock this AC/DC adapter-200W,19V Input: 100~240V, ~2.9A 50~60Hz Output: 19V 10.5A?
It is listed in the manual of MSI GT70 2PC Dominator together with the default AC adapter-180W,19.5V Input:100~240V, ~2.5A 50~60Hz Output:19.5V 9.2A.
I never see this 200W AC/DC adapter released on any MSI GT60 or 70 Dominator models. I think that this power supply is enough for GTX 980M upgrade.

The 180w is fine for stock and no 200w was ever released. If you need more power the exact steps depend on the exact model you have.

If no 200W was ever released why MSI listed in the user guide of MSI GT70 2PC Dominator? 180W is not sufficient for GTX 980M if you want to overclock it.

Because they decided never to produce them but the manual was produced before that decision was made. It happens quite often in the notebook world.

If you want to overclock I suggest either adapting another supply or modding the cable.

You can ignore the printed letters and tell it to use a uk layout if you like.
