Anyone know a vendor (like Maingear or Origin) that will sell a 4K, 970m 6GB GS-60 without the "gaming series" badge on it? I want a computer that I can use for everything, including take to work and not have it draw a bunch of attention. This is the same reason I didn't buy a Razer, that thing on the cover draws way too much attention.

Careful with the words you use Lendari, no need to be angry or rude for things like a badge.

You can simply cover the badge if it bothers you. There are several different methods including using laptop skins, or cutting up a skin only for the badge area, or let your imagination run wild with possibilities. It seems you are trying to find a reason to complain about the machine as the badge is hardly an issue. You are not the first, not will be the last, user of a gaming laptop at work.

A badge won't stop you from using a computer for everything.
