Hey can anyone help me out? My bluetooth device cannot be found at all in my laptop, and i know for a fact is this there because it was working before. Now it isn't in device manager nor can i turn it on anywhere else. Touching the bluetooth icon on the touch pad does absolutely nothing (no light even turns on) and i know the touch pad works because i can turn on wifi and the webcam via this method. There is no fn+random f key to turn it on.

I'v tried various methods....such as reinstalling drivers and devices and reinstalling the system control manager. I searched the internet to no avail...The weird thing is that the bluetooth was working a while ago. I don't know exactly when. So i don't know what may have caused it to stop working.

If you tried reinstalling the drivers and it still isn't working, it is a possibility it could be the hardware malfunctioning. Generally, if it was working before and it just disappears from the device manager and you haven't made any changes to your configuration I would suspect a bad driver or hardware malfunction.
