OK so maybe this is a stupid inquiry but I'm at my wit's end...
I've tried to pair both a Plantronics M50 headset and a Cyren Photive PH-BT1000 speaker to my rig and cannot get either of them to connect.
I keep getting a "Can't find driver for Bluetooth Peripheral Device" error.
The PC sees the device and it shows up under devices but when you got to Device Manager it shows with a yellow exclamation point.
I am pretty sure at one time I successfully paired my Jawbone Jambox with this PC...but for the life of me I cannot get either one of these devices to work.

My laptop is stock other than adding an SSD...all Windows updates have been run.
I also downloaded the Plantronics Update manager...which didn't help.

    Thanks for any direction.

    K.C.

Have you tried downloading the latest Bluetooth driver for your BT adapter?
If your unit has Intel WLAN adapter then below is the link to download the latest WiFi/BT driver.

    WiFi:
    http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23491/eng/Wireless_16.7.0_s64.exe

    BT:

    Thanks for the reply...

Looks like I actually have the following:
Wireless: Intel Centrino Wireles N130 (Driver 14.0.2.2)
BT: Intel Centrino Wireles Bluetooth 3.0 + High Speed Adapter (Driver 1.0.90.20620)

Yes, the drivers are both too old.
Use the hot links that I've provided to update to the latest versions, and hopefully they can resolve the issue.

Don't take this the wrong way Kevin...but I love you!! LOL!!
That fixed it...I guess hitting "Update drivers" in device manager doesn't grab the latest drivers for your devices, so is it best to go to the manufacturer sites for these?

    Thanks again sir!!!
