That's a great idea. Does anyone remember if any of the resellers had specials on MSI's last year? I'm buying this month and can easily put it off till the end of the month if worth while.

I know most of the box stores only seem to discount the low end last years models so they can get rid of them.

I'm also very curious if the resellers were discounting MSI products as well. I need a new laptop this month, but I could wait to the end as well.

I was thinking the same. I have been sitting on the fence with a new laptop purchase since summer.
Since then I've noticed the MSI rebates have dwindled for the most popular laptops.
Also when the debut of the Windows 8 pre-orders, the older Win 7 laptops went up in price and haven't lowered.

I was looking for the same info, but I found a great deal on a GT70 so I grabbed it. With a lot of the MSI models up in the air for availability after Windows 8 was released I figured I would just get it when I could.

Newegg, I think they still have some GT70's and 60's left, but the one I ordered I know is now sold out.
