Looking into getting a netbook and the Wind seems to be leading the pack. I want to put on a lot of emulators and a few scrolling shooter games that have heavy particle effects and can stress machines without a dedicated GPU.

Anyone know if a Wind could handle these games?

I think the u210 should suit your needs. It's the most powerful Wind currently.

I'm pretty sure the MSI Wind could run 3D accelerated games such as Dungeon Siege I/II, X-Men Legends 2, other 3D accelerated games from Reflexive (eg. Air Strike I/II, Crimsonland, etc...), TMNT, Silent Hill 2, and many others...

Yeah but those are pretty old games.
