    SRS only works on Stereo config, but many of my games don't output sound properly in stereo mode, only 5.1 mode.

    Is there a way to get SRS to work in 5.1?

    5.1 works fine for music win the SRS WOW plugin in WMP11, but music in games doesn't sound so glorious in 5.1.

    Not sure what you mean... For 5.1 to work you need to plug in 5.1 speakers or headphones.

    If I don't set the Realtek HD cp to 5.1 surround, I get no speech in some games and gunshots sound far away. Also, I can't hear anyone speaking behind me.

    But if I set it to 5.1, I hear all of that properly through the internal speakers...

    That's very odd. I would try reinstalling the drivers.
