Looking for a good notebook cooler for my MSI GE60. Looking at the Zalman NC2000 and the NotePal Infinite.

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

I say, just get an MSI GT60. You shouldn't be running anything incredibly demanding on a notebook that has mainstream heat dissipation.

    1 vent, 1 fan = awful
    2 vents, 1 fan = great
    2 vents, 2 fans = perfect

I think he already has the GE60. The GT60 might have better cooling but it also has a hotter running GPU so the end result is pretty much the same in terms of temperatures.

Ah, no. Unless you're running furmark all day. The cooling is better than you think, but if the notebook has a flagship card, then yes, it'll be pretty hot.

And I already know he has a GE60.

Well you dont have to worry about the cooling system of the GE60... it keep the temps at 80-90 before the fan start going at 50%+...

So... the only reason to get a laptop cooler is to keep it quiet :)

Which is larger, heavier, and more expensive than the GE60. It's a balancing act.

By the way, I run demanding stuff on my machine, overclocked, and I like my temps.

    Then again I've modded it.

To answer the thread topic, I use a Zalman NC2000, and it's worked great.

Zalman NC2000 used when I'm gaming on my laptop. Works great, and lowers my temps by a few degrees.
