Hello, first sorry my poor english.

Me and my neighbor have this notebook MS-1022 (S425). We had the same problems.

Last day my battery was dead (failed to recharge, blinking orange), it's 1 year. Then I remove the battery, I thought I could use AC adapters to supply power but after pressing the power button it's still no respond, it won't turn ON. It won't power-up with AC adapter plugged in, with or without Battery!

I mean we can't use this notebook if the battery dead (every 12 month). I know, purchasing a new battery will solve this problem, but this time i don't have $95, my S425 still die. Now how to turn it ON without Battery?

    Any suggestions?

If people still don't get what i mean, here's simply what i mean:

    Normal notebook can power-up with:
    1. AC only
    2. Battery only
    3. Both

    In my S425:
    1. Battery only

    - Battery only, then press power button = it's ON, then connect AC = it's CHARGING
    - Battery and AC then press power button = won't turn ON (it's power hang, must replace battery and AC cord)
    - AC only, then press power button = won't turn ON
    - No Battery, No AC, then press power button = won't turn ON you stupid lol :D

    Semi solution:

I borrow a charged battery from my friends just to power-up this notebook. After it's ON, I connected the AC adapter, and then remove the battery while it's still ON. I can shutdown or restart ON without battery. But when I try to replugged AC adapter cord it won't power-up anymore, i must use my friends battery again.

    Regards.
