I'm trying to upgrade my 1029 to BIOS 2.5 and i made a flash CD with the BIOS. I restarted my laptop with the flash CD, got into dos, and entered R:\a1029ams.bat. Now after entering this command i got an error about failure to open the ROM file

If any one has had a similar expirence and/or knows what happened

    thanx

Watch out! Whenever you flash the BIOS, make sure you know what you are doing every step of the way. A failure to properly upgrade the BIOS can cause serious damage.

I realize this isn't pertinent to your problem at hand, but its just a reminder.
