    Are there any custom BIOS's that allow disabling the HD 4600 in my MSI GS60 2QE

    My laptop is the GS60 2QE, the one with the 1080p display, Intel 4720HQ, and 970M, I've had issues with the HD 4600 not allowing applications to use the 970M, especially in Linux, and older Windows OS's. I'd like to disable my HD 4600, and just use my 970M.

    I do not care about battery life, I just want my system to work better.

    I suppose your laptop has Optimus - so the video stream is going thru Intel. Meaning it's impossible.
