    Anyone tried RIFT on the MSI GX640?

    I am buying that computer tomorrow with the i7processor and 8G of Ram, am pretty sure it runs the game but its pretty hardware hungry so i would like to know your experiences and what grafic settings you play on...

    Doesn't seem all that bad.... you should be able to play it. I wouldn't assume you can just jump straight into like Ultra settings. The game is still in Beta you got a couple days left before we have any REAL gameplay experience.

    MMO's like quads so thers no reason not to get it :D Also my laptop has MAJOR heating problems ever since i put the i7 in it. Without a laptop cooler and at 1.1v i reach 108oC on gpu and 102oC average on all core. However I have a laptop cooler now and i maintain my cpu cores under 85oC and my gpu at a steady 88-90oC. These are temps are long long long sessions of bc2. If im playing crysis or metro 2033 for that long my gpu tops out at around 94oC, averaging at around 92oC. Hope this helped!

    cool, which cooler did you get? I bought a coolmaster with 1 big fan, but havent played a game yet... so no clue how good that notebook cooler stand is...
