    This question is aimed specifically at CoffeeShark/Unleaded/NoClue4UHere... You guys have any idea when the 1042 will come out. I mean, I've used AMD my whole life. I don't wanna switch to Intel (Clevo M570U) just because I can't wait for a little while. I love how it has the X2 and MXM. If I know it's not too far off, I'd be more than happy to sit tight.

    Anyone? Cause that new Rock TX2 notebook looks mighty similar to an MSI design.

    I saw somewhere I think theinqurier.net that MSI is releasing some new notebooks with 15.4" screens and full size keyboards here soon, not sure if that was one or not since they just listed one model and they talked about several units.

    L735 looks like a 17" display model. This is exactly what I've been waiting for. I hope it gets here soon...

    There IS a smaller battery, but it's sold seperately and gives you less time. This is for the 1036, which I assume will work for the 1042, but once again, it may not be the case. I'm pretty sure it won't stick out, because the MS-1036 manual had a battery that did not stick out, and this is the only other non 9 cell battery for the 1036.

    The battery really does not stick out *that* far... less than 1" for sure. I originally thought it would make a nice grip to hold the unit with one hand, but it's actually too small for even that. It's really not that noticible at all.
