Haven't really heard much in the way of this laptop, other than previews of it being released.

Just ordered one, and should be here within a week, specs are:

    Core 2 Duo SU7300
    4GB Ram
    500GB HDD
    14" 1366x768
    Radeon 5430

Couldn't find any reviews, once I get it, I will do up a mini review for everyone.

For a small, light, and cool running notebook w/discrete gfx, it should be nice. Will look forward to seeing your impressions. I have an X340 and the 420 would be a big step up. (I also have a GE600 which I just got and really like.)

    Enjoy!

I also had an X340 for a while, I got one of the first revisions so the keyboard was pretty mushy, but other than that I really liked it. Was looking for something with a bit more juice, and a gpu for video acceleration, can't wait to get it!

macjine, the j key is adjacent to the h key, so a typo I guess.

Yea, I have the mushy keyboard, too. LOL! But I'm used to it now. Otherwise, very happy with it.

Looking forward to your review of the X420!
