Any thoughts on the MSI GE63 8RF Raider rbg?

Hi, as title says what are your thoughts on this model? https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GE63-Raider-RGB-8RF/Specification
I can't find any review about the 15,6" model, not even on this forum. I only wanted to know about the thermals and battery life. Thanks.

The cooling is rather good and batterylife is around 3hoursish when using it with youtube etc.

Performance is pretty good allround. I have the i7 7700HQ version with a 1060 6GB so I am perhaps not quite what you are looking for.
120Hz screen is nice, although I plug in to a 144hz external monitor and it copes fine. With a 1070 it will be even better.
I beleive they have improved the thermals even more with the 8 series CPU's. I undervolt the CPU slightly which helps keep temperatures down even more but it is fine stock too.
It does eveything I want in a 15.6" package.
You'll love it as much as I do (I wonder if you can retrofit the RGB lid on to existing machines? )

 

3 hours is about right. I hear a lot of speculation on temps but I don't think I've seen any that get particularly hot yet.
