Does anyone seem to have actual pictures of the force 16f3 laptop? Everywhere I look, no reseller has any. Thanks folks :)

Thanks! I actually do hope it looks like a stripped gt60 rather than the 16f2

It is, but for some reason, the actual photos haven't been posted on any site quite yet. I've been told that it has the same touch panel like the gt60 but I search for some pictures to verify :)

No it's like the 16F2 bit with a new lid design.

Except for the extra USB 3.0 port and the ODD, it looks just like the 16F2.

Oooohhhhh so no touch bar? I guess that means no gold-plated audio jacks either (not like it matters though xD). Thanks Meaker! Do you know where to get photos btw?

    Thank you too, 5482741!

Wait so do you guys believe that stuff like the touch bar can be installed? I know with the 16f3 the steelseries keyboard can be put in

AFAIK that needs the bios hooks.

You would have to get the audio/USB board from a GT60 and flash a GT60 bios to do it otherwise the right USB wont work.

Also I believe the shape is a little different.

The steelseries keyboard can't be put into the 16F2 due to a motherboard limitation, or so I've read. But if the 16F3 can take it, then maybe you can install other stuff too.

Nope, the touchpanel from the GT60 can not be installed correctly on a 16F3. The chassis on the two are designed to be just unique enough to prevent any other parts aside from the keyboard and obvious internal guts from being swapped around.

Ooh I see now. Thanks Heihachi! Mmmm now I contemplate... The 16f3 is a better deal because I can make it good for a lesser price, but I do like the little things the gt60 comes with though... I'll see how this goes :p
