Hello there, I hope someone here can help me.

I want to buy a laptop and am currently deciding between ASUS K50IN and MSI CX600X.

I have been given the chance to see the ASUS personally, but not the MSI.
Not only that, but I have found plenty reviews on the ASUS, but again, not on MSI.

I have seen the V630 model, which was awful (touchpad, keyboard flex, etc...). Also, the hinges did not seem quite convincing, they were rather small.

Does any one of you have any experience with the CX600X model? From the photos, it seems pretty solid, but I am afraid that it too may have the keyboard issues I have experienced with VR630.

Can anyone help me? Any experience with CX600X?

Many, many thanks in advance for any help.

    I bought my mom a CR600 and a friend a CR700.

The CR600 is my favorite of those two. Hinges were decent enough, the keyboard was basically the same as my 1651, but wasn't as flexy as the 1651's.

Mouse buttons are stiff, I hate glossy plastics, but it had a 3 year warranty at a price point that no one else could match, and it's deceptively lightweight. I swear, the CR700 weighed as much as my Thinkpad.
