If you have MSI laptop which has a key on the left side of space button which looks like >/< meaning it responds to greater than and lesser than, could you please tell me the code which it sends to the OS?
You can download a program like keytweak, and after launching it press Half Teach mode>>Scan a single key and press this button. It will tell you the code.

Reason I ask this is because I bought a keyboard for my MSI GE70 0NC which has different layout and after fixing compatibility (flash firmware hotswapping old and new keyboards before hitting Enter) this button is the only one which doesn't represent it's symbols and it gives me \| instead.

    Thank you!

On a normal keyboard layout the less than key (<) is the shift function of the comma key (,) and the greater than key (>) is the shift function of the period key (.). I have never seen a keyboard that has those 2 functions (< / >) on the same key much less to the left of the space bar which is usually where your ALT, Windows key, Function key, and CTRL keys are.

This is true for QWERTY, not for AZERTY. Will try to get the code tomorrow on my GT72 AZERTY if I don't forget.

Thank you. Even if it did, I just sold my laptop so... Thank you for your good intentions though.

The space bar issue wasn't resolved?
