Hello,
I have an MSI GT70-2OD and my issue is the bluetooth. It keeps turning on and off every second without ever stopping. I had the drivers removed a couple months ago, but now with windows 10, it reinstalled it. Disabling it, uninstalling it, updating it doesn't change anything. The only I found to stop it was to uninstall every bluetooth driver as fast as I could before it refreshes it and sometimes that doesn't even help. While I'm writing this message, its still turning on and of...
So I guess it's a physical problem, but I'm not sure. It was working fine at first when I had just bought the laptop, but a couple months later it all went south. Every couple of months or so I try to find a solution to this but nothing like this ever pops up in my search. This is why I wanted to ask in this forum if some one has ever seen something like this.
I have a killer 1202 ar5822 (qualcomm atheros). The Wi-Fi works fine but the ethernet leds stopped working at some point (card works fine), I don't remember if it was at the same time when the bluetooth started doing this. I don't know if that's relevant.
Thanks

Replace the card? It's easy enough to remove.

Hello Kevin,
I was hoping not to get to that. When I booted up my computer today, the bluetooth stopped turning on and off, it's stable now, but it doesn't detect any device. The device can detect the computer but cannot connect to it. So maybe it's not a hardware issue after all I guess. Is there another alternative? -

Make sure the power options on the wifi portion of the drivers are not set to be able to turn off the device. However it does look like the wifi card does need to be reseated/replaced, talk to your reseller.

If it isn't a driver issue, it's the module itself. It's that simple.

I've reset the computer to factory defaults. Everything works fine, even the bluetooth module.
