I am in the process of trading my msi 1651 spec's in sig minus the x9100, it will be a T7700 that goes with it, for this:

    Gateway P-6860FX
    Intel Core 2 Duo t5550 ~ 4GB DDR2 ~ 2x 320GB WD Scorpio's RAID 0 ~ Nvidia 8800m GTS ~ Dual-boot Vista Home Premium and Ubuntu 8.10

The reason I am trading is the fact of the 15.4 when I want a 17inch. Others said just upgrade the lcd to 1680 x 1050 which is a good point but I know Gateway is a good brand and I used to have one so I know alot about them. The 6860FX also comes with the 3 year accidental warranty too.

I just wanted an opinion on what others might think of this trade.

    17" > 15.4"
    8800gts > 9600M GT
    Keyboard on 6860 > 1651
    2 drive bays > 1 drive bay

    There is no comparison, IMHO.

I am not sure if I am selling it, I am currently bidding on a laptop and if I win the x9100 will be going in it. If not I will let you know. Thanks.
