Ok, my new laptop is in my signature :D
Ill do a review of it when i get it and have it all good and going!

Just as a quick question, should i bother taking off the dry thermal compound and put AS5 on or should i just leave it?

If you, er, *ahem*, are thinking about "experimenting" with a certain fruity OS, you might want to consider the 4965(? The older model Intel WiFi card) or there's a DELL WiFi card that is builtin compatible apparently, but you'll have to search for the part #s. (From what I hear it's readily available from ebay most of the time...)

Multiple antennas just mean additional simultaneous send/receive channels if you have g MIMO or your n router supports it IIRC.

(Linux directly supports the 5100/5300 already fairly well so no problems there... as does Vista/XP of course.)

GX620/1651: exactly the same excepting color, and the hw keys. The 1651 is missing the Turbo mode button. (Except the 1651 is meant to be sold -CPU/-RAM/-hdd/possibly -optical drive.)

note: Apparently the button IS still there or was on some earlier 1651 revisions, but the BIOS support is missing, so you'd have to use the GX620 BIOS to get, and load the MSI windows support sw to get it to function.

He'll take money orders, local pickup, and maybe Google checkout if you talk him into it

and if any one wants to know why he was limited on paypal, it was because paypal is deamonic (paypalsucks.com) there are plenty of examples of what happened to him.

No more paypal for me. They locked my account because they said it was too high risk. Basically getting too much money and too frequent transfers from paypal to my bank account. So now I have to wait 180 days to be able to receive the $4000+ in my account.

Paypal likes to lock accounts now. I sold some stuff on eBay for a friend and most of the money from the sales was locked until I recieved positive feedback since I was new in those categories. My friend was pissed because it took like a month to get all the money. You would think with 100 eBay feedback and 20 or so in paypal they would not do that.

Long story not on topic of thread title but with current posts.

I have been a paypal member since they opened, about nine years.
I also ran into a huge deal with them this past weekend.
i needed to get a payment out.

I have always used the Master Card Shop safe program,
    http://www.mastercard.com/us/personal/en/learningcenter/stayingsecure/safeshoppingonline.html
for those that don't know what this is. This creates virtual credit card drawn from your main card, with a tad of control, you can set the limit and expiration period on that virtual card number.
I used it as a next level of security. Sure you are covered from fraud, but if you have a HUGE line of credit, that means you could be spending allot of time cleaning up a mess if fraud took place.
With the virtual card, you can limit the damage possibilities.

Back to the problem, I went to register a new card with paypal to cover the payment.
when doing so, it put my account in limited mode.
I had to call and FIGHT paypal, they said I have used to many credit cards on their system over the last nine years, "22 numbers" all virtual, yet paypal can NOT determine if they are virtual or not.

After nearly two hours on the phone, I had one supervisor override the system.
Yet now if I try to add a new card, it will trip to limited again.

Paypal asked about the card numbers, I told them they are the SAME type of number that your paypal service offers as a security feature via the paypal debit card. Paypal calls it the paypal Plug in.
    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/general/NewPayPalPlugin-outside
The software is written by Master Card Worldwide.

Then this supervisor goes on to say we don't want you using that type of card!,
This is a real credit card number!
Yet they offer it as a security for paypal debit card owners.

I am sorry i am not about to use any sort of debit card with paypal transactions.
At this point they removed the limited account, I placed on a new virtual card number with a larger predetermined balance.

I have a call into Master Card corp. to look into this Bs that paypal is pulling.
It is a privilege to use merchant card services, and if at anytime they break the fair lending credit act, they also risk being penalized.
What would paypal be with out the ability of credit cards?
Discover also offers a similar service.

Anyone that has a bank account registered with paypal.
I suggest you go into your bank and open a checking account.
don’t even have checks printed, then use that account with paypal.

If you use online banking, you can transfer funds into/out of that new account.
Use it as a buffer in between paypal and your real money account.

I have been an eBay member with 100's of 100% positive feedback going into the late 90's, not a single neutral or negative strike, and have had paypal for nine years with many hundreds of transactions into and out of my paypal account.

Moreover, paypal still pulls this crap to one of their best loyal members.

    Therefore, be careful with them.

If you know how to use them they are great. Especially if you are a buyer, there is nothing better than paypal.
