My New gx620 arrived yesterday and I just picked it up. However, there seems to be an issue...

So to assemble it, I put the battery in and plugged the AC adapter in. I then pressed the power button.

The computer starts lighting up and the fan runs, but nothing appears on the monitor. Caps and Num don't work, no booting beeps, nothing but the power light and battery light. If I press the buttons at the top, wireless turns on and lights up the wireless led, but turbo and eco buttons don't stay lit, they just light for moment and turn off. I have to hold down hte power buttong for 6 seconds to turn it off. Upon reboot the power turns on for 8 seconds, then the computer turns off and then reboots itself (I think). After about an hour the battery was charged and the battery light has turned off (maybe 40 min).

Have I screwed up or is this a broken machine? I was really looking forward to this and now I'm   :(

Yeah I'd bring it to a repair place first because I need the laptop soon but that's not going to work out.

After spending hours searching I finally found the contact number for msi canada... had to run in giant circles to get to it. I can't even send it out right now because I'm moving in 3 weeks so I run the risk of not being here anymore when they ship it back... but I also risk not having it there when I arrive.

Urgh this is terrible. Any ideas on how I might be able to get MSI to cover the shipping charge? Seems to me like that should really be their responsibility, given that the product didn't even work upon arrival?
