    About the 5870m running on 1656(GX640)

    Here was a issue on my laptop...
    About the clock of video card memory. The video card is ATI HD 5870M, and the laptop is 1656(or GX640)
    The video card have 2d and 3d working model and the video memory clock must be the same on both model, or my screen will flash sometimes.
    Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

    Set the 2d and 3d memory clocks the same, that's the only solution.

    Isn't there any other solution? I do have friends in GX740 can actually standby 100-150 frequency, while the 1656 there is only above the 405-1000, of course, can also work on 300-1000, the temperature is relatively high.
