A New To MSI Users Intro

Hi

I just wanted to take a minute to stop and join in and do a quick intro... First off I'm a retired guy that is new to computing... My favorite program to date is System Restore and i use it often...

I decided on the MSI notebook after much research on the net because of the portibility advantage over a desktop and what I feel gives me decent "bang for my buck"...

My username here describes me 100% accurately and I know I will lurk and learn allot here... Perhaps i will even be able to contribute some in the future...

CJ: i ended up with a 1722id1 (msi calls it a gx 701?) with wxsga+, p8400, 4gb 800 6400, 160 hdd, wifi, and multi dvd... not much compared 2 what u on here have but barely squeezed it into the budget... maybe it's upgradeable later ??? i got it on ebay and had the seller build it up 4 me... i put these specs on my profile but it doesn't seem 2 show up...

I'm not sure if that's the problem. If your want signature,you press Edit signature, not Edit profile.
And the new signature will not change your past posts. You will see it only in new ones, after an edit.
