Question: According to the GT627 prices, what will be the GT735 price with the ATI graph card in Canada?

The GT735 in Canada was $1999. And I think they had a special were it was like $1749 for a while (I got it almost at cost because I got discount, so it was worth it for me). But if you don't get a deal, its a bit pricey, because Canada has some crap selection. But its a bit different than the site, because its a barebones that London Drugs builds.

    It has a 17" @ 1920x1200 Resolution, AMD Turion X2 Ultra Duel Core @ 2.4Ghz, Blu-Ray Player, 320GB Hard Drive, 4GB RAM, ATI 3850, came with Vista 64 Bit.

I think its probably still better to order, since you'll probably get a better deal. But if you don't want to order a PC, then its gonna be tough.

When I was there they had a couple models that varyed that were a bit cheaper, one with less hard drive.etc.

The other one they carryed was:
    Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 @ 2.0Ghz, 4GB RAM, Geforce 9600M GT, 15.4" @ 1280x800 Resolution, 320 GB Hard Drive. For $1399.98

Something cool would be Certifed Data
17" @ Lower res than yours, Intel 2.26, DVD Player, 320GB Hard Drive, 4GB RAM, ATI 4850, came with Vista 64 Bit/32bit.

    So for now, my choice is the GT627-217US 2.26Ghz, 320Gb, 4Gb, 9800GS,16" 1280 x 800. ... until better before mid-end summer

but ive found this GT735-024US http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152087

Yea, Nice!. I need the 1920x1200 Res so that works good for me. If I didn't get a discount I wouldn't have bought it, I probably would have ordered one a site.

But for $1600(CANADIAN), I don't think It was a bad deal for me. I get instore support in case of a problem and its always nice to get a actual boxed Vista 64 Bit = D. And they used Arctic Silver thermal paste, so thats a ++ for me. Its nice to see temps in the 30's when idle.

That link you have is pretty nice. But I agree your best bet is the 627, especially for the price on new egg, I can assure you if it does come to Canada in stores it will be much more. ;)

Edit. Oh wow after looking at that link they didn't have blu-ray. Holy crap. I did get a good deal lol. Even though I don't use blu-ray, yet (kinda pointless, I like USB).

Only thing I don't like about the MSI's direct builds vs the Certified Data is that the MSI have that weird silver thing around the lil touch button panel above the keyboard. The Certified Data MSI Rebrand just has it all glossy black, and it really fits the theme. But thats minor.
