    Hey guys, just wondering...
what are the temps on your 9600m GT when idle/gaming?

I was playing farcry 2 it's around 79C most of the time with 84C max, and it idles at 47C, is that too high? I applied AS5 on both the cpu and gpu when
I installed it, should I reapply it?

    40-45C idle/75-80C load.

Let it sit for a bit, the compound has to settle and after a day or so, you should see some improvement in your temperatures. The reading does look normal anyways, so I wouldn't be overly concerned about it.

=) I hope it's like what you said and it gets better as time passes... the
notebook was built about a week ago, and I had been shutting down my notebook at night so it can rest for that 200 hours needed

Hi, what is this 200 hours for? Could you elaborate for me?
Is it recommended that a new laptop have an 'ease in' period of 200 hours?

the 200 hours is about the AS5, on the AS5 webpage, it saids it will take up
to 200hours for the grease to "set" for the max effect.
    http://www.arcticsilver.com/as5.htm

"The compound thickens slightly over the next 50 to 200 hours of use to its final consistency designed for long-term stability."

    =) heat problem solved!
I was thinking about it last night wondering if I ever did apply AS5 on my GPU,
you know how the more you think about something, the more you doubt?
well anyways, I pulled it apart today to check... I did apply AS5, but only
half of the GPU got grease on it! I don't know how I managed that ><
I cleaned the old stuff off and reapplied, now it's running at 42C idle, 67C load
    =D
