Getting a new scanner and printer would probably be much less hassle... And not that expensive (unless it is some special scanner and printer).

Is the GTX460(GF114) driver for WinXP really not exist?

    As for the desktop GTX460 = GF104, GTX560 = GF114

And drivers are available from Nvidia including XP ones for both notebooks and desktops.

if the 570M XP driver cant be modified from GTX560 xp driver
(or crashes daily when using desktop version XP driver)

I think I would go for the GTX460M SLI upgrade instead of single GTX570M
the 266.58 notebook driver is available for 460M in XP ,though the two fans may not be controlled perfectly

And they wont exist ever. XP is no longer supported by most programs and Microsoft released SP3 as the final update for the OS.

The GTX 570 is a DX11 GPU anyway... XP can only handle DX9c

XP is on its last leg, it is time to move on. Also have you checked to see if the printer/scanner works in win 7, as it supports most printers by default?

However, if I understand what you are trying to do. Why on earth would you spend all this money on a modern gaming notebook and then dumb it down (just for a printer, that are dirt cheap new) to an OS that cannot take advantage of it. ???

Seriously, to run old games and old peripherals like the ones you want, you don't need a cutting edge notebook, much less one with the power of 560GTX+ GPUs... Why don't you get an older notebook? You can find them for around US$100 on ebay, they'll have windows xp and you can run old games and install your old printer and scanner on it too. Try the first dual cores with 2gb ddr2 ram and 120gb hard drives, plenty of power for what you want.

Windows XP mode is built into Windows 7 Ultimate and offers the option to download it through Professional as well as an update.

Also, stick to 64-bit. Trust me, it's better in every way. And Software 3D mode is what most games use nowadays.

Software 3D mode = low graphics quality , accelerate by CPU

hardware 3D mode = high graphics quality , accelerate by GPU

I brought a Matrox Millennium G200 PCI version for my desktop years ago,
in order to play <Final Fantasy VII> in hardware 3D mode
no modern video cards support this game in DirectX 5.0

It has much better graphics quality than my GTX280M SLI/GTX570M in software 3D mode
