    hi is it possible to connect a 5.1 speaker system with the e7405? how to connect it?

    the laptop is dolby 5.1 ready over the hdmi output only.
    Otherwise you need to refer to your speaker manual and see what to connect where, maybe you'll need to use all the 4 audio jacks.
    Try and ask Cata, he's already done it be4.

    The laptop should support up to 7.1 ,

    Analogue out through the 3.5mm array,

    TOSLINK converter to grant you optical output,

    Theres another type of output (Well HDMI too if you have a reciever).
