Really? I could barely get 4GB without having a BSOD! I am using 2x2GB Corsair Gaming Memory and it gave me a stop error whenever it enters WinXP, but when I use only 1x2GB it works. It also works with 2x1GB configuration. Tested both memory slots, too, and is working fine. I don't have any idea about the problem. Is it because the Corsair brand are incompatible with the GX620 (1651)?

Because you are using windows xp, you need at least windows vista x64 to make good use of the 8gb of ram cuz xp x64 isnt that good...

I think that your ram its fine maybe you should try windows 7 x64 and update your bios :) .

I use OCZ in all my custom home computers and laptops. Very stable when overclocking.

most companies use all kinds of chips. i have seen the same exact part number sticks from ocz with 4 different brands of chip on 4 different sets. make no difference anymore what brand is on them. the only thing that will effect is the warranty of them. even if you order 2 of the same sets on the same day you may end up with 2 different kinds of chips on them
