There are still no 3x3 802.11ac cards yet. But when they do come out, I would like to get the max bandwidth I can get.

I have the gt783/ 1761 notebook that only comes with 2 antennas. Has anyone done the 3rd antenna mod? If so, how was the performance? Where can i purchase an additional antenna. Where and how did you mount it in the lcd housing?

    Thanks.

The 2 screws in the lower corners of the top half of the notebook behind the rubber covers that are stuck on need to be removed so the bezel around the screen can be removed. It is held to the frame by hook snaps and double sided tape.

See this linked post where I installed the 3rd antenna with a killer 1103.

While the bezel is off remove the plastic piece that blocks the mic holes.
