    3d gaming/video over HDMI?

    Question. Does the GT70 (with 780m) support 3d gaming and 3d video over hdmi? Provided of course that the display being connected is 3d?

    You would need to fiddle with nvidia's 3D solutions (buying licence, glasses etc). And have a proper monitor. It works but depending on the bandwidth of the HDMI you may be stuck at 720p for 60fps. I think HDMI 1.4a works 1080p for up to 24 fps or something like that.

    Maybe display port can handle more.

    It can, although HDMI 1.4 is limited in its ability to output 3D at high resolutions while maintaining high frame rates. DP is a more practical interface for this,
