    Depends if a panel is produced. Like almost all manufacturers msi purchase panels to use so if they are not being made you can't make a machine with them.

    I would like to MSI or (any manufacturer) for that matter bring out a 17 inch 3K or 4K Notebook. How about a screen like the Dell 15 XPS that would be good. How much more can it cost then a 15.6 inch is not that much bigger.

    Like I said you are better off asking why lg and the other panel manufacturers are not making them.

    If a panel manufacturer makes 3K 17" then it will happen, just matter of time.
