Factory refurb. Purchased off Fleabay. Friggin nightmare BTW.
I may go into that story later to keep someone else from being misled by a certian seller.

Anyhoo, besides my problems with that, heres my newest delema.

I've had this laptop since 12-01 and have been running external speakers off the "Line Out" jack, it works fine like that. The internal speakers work fine.

I decided to try out the 5.1 output using the headphone jack as my front speakers as instructed in the manual. That's when I discover I have no audio on the right channel on the headphone jack. Thought it was my speakers until I tried other audio devices on the jack. No right channel audio.
Tried uninstalling the sound device and reinstalled the drivers. No luck.
If I turn the volume wide open I get distorted sound from the right channel otherwise no sound.

Not sure I can RMA this as I didn't get a receipt nor does MSI recognise the ser# when trying to register it online.

    Any Ideas ?
