    This is the GT725 , which uses a different heatsink/cooling system then the gx720.

    btw, how much did you get for your 1722?

    Its the 1722 ID2 he confirmed this.. I sold mine for $765.00..

    Wow, good job at getting 765.

    I don't believe him. Unless he took the heatsink from a GT725. The 9800m (or any MXM 3 cards) are not compatible with the standard 1722 heatsink.

    EDIT: You have a GT725, you can take a look at the heatsink and see how it differs. The screw-layout is different. Does anyone have a part number for the vga heatsink for the GT725?

    I know I switched them with my 1722 ID2 weeks ago and it worked. There is a big diffrence in size.

    I only have one concern. The cpu has a TDP of 45W and the 9800m gts has a TDP of 75W, which comes to 120W, the max for the power brick.

    Yeah I dont know either, never tried a 9800m GTS..
