    A friend of mine wants to trade me his Asus G50VT-X1 for my 1722 ID2. Do you think its worth it?? Same specs except his has the 9800m GS 512 card, and its 15.6. What do you guys think??

    Wait... according to your sig you also have a GT725? If you do, you don't need the Asus, either keep the 1722 to tinker with or sell it to buy a netbook

    Hmm asus mini range is nice, but the msi x3** and so on series are looking good.

    I would keep the 1722 as a modding project, save up for like a gtx 260 and a qx and try modify cooling.

    But thats just me, the guys down at project freeze have some great ideas.

    I tried to mod it before, The 9800m GT worked but the heatsink did not. If it sells on ebay then it does if not I will keep it and maybe buy a GTX 260m or 280m.. BTW the 4850 works in the 1722 aswell..

    Yeah the chipset is very good, and modding heatsink is a challange, but fun if you have the time.

    If i had money i'd jump all over that deal :)
    I hope it sells!
