I bought a Force/MSI 16FS from XoticPC, and im running win7x64 with the included video drivers, 268.12. I see there are a lot newer drivers released, but they wont install, and the MSI site only gives you an autoupdate program, which says I have the newest drivers. I found that playing games (minecraft/burnout), I got significantly better battery life when plugged into AC power. Ive verified with GPU-Z that my clock speeds quadruple when Im plugged in. Ive tried using Powermizer Switch, Powermizer Manager, and manually editing the registry, and none of them have any positive effect on clock speeds. Using the manager, I was able to set it to minimum on ac, which did affect it, but nothing else did. Do the new drivers help with this? Is there any other method to fix this? Ive read on the linux boards that you can poll the driver every 25 seconds to keep it at max, but I havent seen anything like that for windows, and I dont have Ubuntu installed to test it

I believe the cards are forced into low power clocks when on battery and nothing can be done about it.
