problem:
Hi,
The USB port on the right side of the computer is for some reason only giving me usb 1.1. i've messed around in the BIOs and it says the number of USB ports: 12, so i changed this to 2, and now the right side doesn't work at all, but the left side gives me 2.0 just fine. my device manager has one "enhanced port" and one normal one... i am really lost on this.
I'm also not getting eSATA to work, even though i have AHCI enabled and the intel storage management installed.... if i try to boot up with the eSata drive in, it usually won't boot up(stuck at green bars screen), and if i plug it in while up and running, OS will stop. i have not tried using a different eSATA device, but that is a probability.
my BIOS is not updated yet. will this help possibly? any other suggestions? much appreciated....

I'm thinking when you changed the number of USB ports in the BIOS to only 2, that may have affected the other one, since there are technically 3 usb ports, just one of them is a combo slot with esata.
Kind of weird and annoying, yeah....
1651 / gx620 USB and eSata problems...
