    Hi,

I have had two 1221 notebooks where the wireless button will not function to turn on/off the wireless nic. Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you install the system control manager? What OS and what brand card are you using?

Yes we did install the System Control Manager. I believe we have tried a couple of different incarnations of that.

We are using XP-Home OS and the new Intel 4965AGN WiFi Card.

    Thank you.

    What bios version is installed?
What version SCM did you install? The one on the cd is not for XP.
