I'd put a 3rd option of wait and see but excited at the prospect. It's great MSI are getting into the dual card system market but it's your first attempt and doing things a little differently (which I like but it may or may not work).

There is also the question of the sort of system it will be. Pure gamer with limited options and designed for stock performance or if it will tip the hat to enthusiasts and allow some DEEP tweaking.

I think you have quite a few people's interest peaked :) If you pull it off right (which MSI certainly have the means to do so) you could own the crown in your first strike.

I would be much more interested if it was a bigger GT72 notebook with 3 fans. And it had a steelseries keyboard instead of the clumpy keyboard you have on the current GT80 design.

That said,.I need to see it more closely and want to read reviews first before making up my mind. There are still aspects about the design I dont understand. Like all the area above the keyboard that seems wasted. I still think you be much better off with a normal touchpad and steelseries keyboard above that. I understand you need a lot of space for the mechanical keyboard in the GT80 but I think it was a wrong direction design wise.

I believe from early reports the top is a lid to access parts.

Like the dual gpus but I'd rather have a separate mechanical keyboard just because you can remove it and use it with another computer/notebook. Would love a GT82 that had dual GPUs and the same design as the GT72.

I will buy one on Cyber Monday if you release it!

I'd like to here more about "cooling", heat management, heatsink design, fans, air management.

    Cost?

My budget is US$3k to US$4k, and I am waiting on the GT80 Titan. Otherwise its a Sager 9377s.

A 4k screen and it will be the ultimate laptop!

Btw, if you were to make it spill-proof, and hard constructed, like a Lenovo "Txxx" model, as well as ditching the boy racer looks, MSI could sell a good number to high end corporate types as their personal (desktop replacement) machine.

I am contemplating putting a "skin" to cover the keyboard dragon, as well as on the back.

Will it be possible to have a plain unmarked model, ala Sager?

Lastly, let me add, the GT80 Titan appeals, not simply from a gaming point of view, but also from the view of a business TYPIST!! One who types better than 80 wpm, but finds speed typing especially difficult on a laptop with a conventional "chiclet" keyboard.

Note, the "forward" position of the keyboard makes for a more natural typing position, as well as gaming position. Please do not change.

Also, as a marketing gimmick, test the keyboard with some speed typists vs a conventional laptop keyboard. I suspect you'll discover that typists will type faster and more accurately on the GT80 Titan!

You could also market toward writers, anyone making their living through a keyboard!

Can anyone type 100 wpm on a laptop? Type for "production"? They can now!
