Download MSI GT75 Titan 8RG Recovery Image

So I got the recovery image of the MSI GT75 Titan 8RG through a good contact I have at MSI.

You can load this on any MSI laptop as it will pick up the Windows product key from the BIOS so activation is not an issue here. The only caveat is you may have to install any missing drivers yourself that are not exactly the same as your laptop. For example, people with the GS Series have a different Card Reader Driver so you need to download that off the MSI website under your laptop model's drivers.

I also had to uninstall the Atlantic LAN Driver as that is not there on my MSI GT73VR Titan Pro but that particular drivers leaves no leftovers behind so you don't even need to run a proper uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller of GeekUninstaller for removing that.

What you will need though is the Norton Removal Tool if you don't want to use Norton Security which is probably the only bloatware in this image. When you run the Norton Removal Tool (as admin), click advance from the bottom right, then choose remove only

This new image has a pretty updated build of Windows 10 Redstone 3 and has the updated MSI Dragon Center and updated Nahimic

To burn the image, use Rufus and burn it to a 32GB USB Flash Drive formatted as NTFS. Once you select the image, make sure you are choosing GPT Partition for UEFI in Rufus.

When you boot off it by pressing F11 during startup to get the boot menu options, do not select the left icon (C: Drive only recovery) but select the right icon, Complete Hard Drive Recovery as the C: drive only recover won't work if you didn't have this particular image on your laptop loaded in the first place.

This WILL wipe all your data so make sure you have backed up everything

Note, you will need to install the Mega browser addon for either Chrome or Firefox as the file is humongous

Will install in next few days as I need machine for a few bits first.

No can do, the free space has expired on my account and there is no free site that allows such large uploads.

And I don't have the time or patience to do this again, it takes days to upload.
