Interesting! It is 15.6" Full HD IPS with 96% sRGB which is better than P65 Creator. Can I know the screen ids of this model? LG AUO BOE? So I can find this screen to replace on my laptop instead.

I really like the look of this machine. I do hope the cooling is enough for that thin looking chassis.

There's not much said that you can't already infer (for example, having an SSD that is not soldered and thus user replaceable or that the touchpad is wider). Nothing bad is mentioned about the notebook. Keep in mind they are promoting it and at the end explains how to place an order.
As to gaming, he indicates that even if it's not a system designed for gaming, it demonstrates that it can play pretty contemporary and demading games (without abusing of high settings) keeping very good temperatures at all times . The "benchmarks" are as follow:
    - Fortnite (no settings mentioned): 100 average FPS
    - Rocket League (max settings): 60 average FPS
    - Project Cars 2 (max settings): 50-60 FPS
    - PUBG (medium settings): 40-50 FPS

Also, he likes the blue color :p

Could have had a TB3 port or PD instead of QC3(or had 4.0+ since it's PD compatible) since it's just a ULV processor

The laptop looks beautiful, it is quiet but the screen is not as good as they say, the card reader is terribly slow and what is the most important processor speed tremendously falls under load.

In addition, the versions with GTX 1050 Ti Max-q and GTX 1050 Ti are probably not available in Europe. I was a bit disappointed after this review.

That speed is indeed terrible but could have been driver or HW-related issue.

Hey guys, will be buying this laptop possibly tomorrow or next week, it will be a pre-order so maybe first week of march I would have it on me.

Will post back with Benchmarks pre/post tweaks, UV, will see if retailer can add the TIM TG Kryo which should be arriving at around the same time.

    Hey everyone,
I purchased the PS63 008 from my local Best Buy. This is the unit that comes with the 1050 Ti.
The GF needed a new computer from her aging Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. Luckily, she’s letting me keep it for a week to run tests on it.
I’ll have a review ready in the next week or so.

Haha Jrey! My wife is looking for a new laptop as well.

    Sadly AU only sells non-Ti's.

New shipments are due to arrive on the 26 or 28/02.

Nice man, dual reviews lol. Which model did you get? I was trying to hunt the 8M which DOESNT come with a Nvidia GPU but it seems no-one has it.
Also, I don't know if I have a bad unit or a bad paste job but my PS63 is throttling at 96c at full load. Compared to other reviews, it shouldn't go there. I'm gonna open it and repaste with Kryonaut. Hopefully it's just the paste, otherwise, i'll just return the damn thing.
Also, I cannot install the latest Nvidia drivers. the only one that works is directly from MSI. I tried both the DCH and Standard, installed the latest iGPU drivers, updated to the latest windows, DDU everything, etc. I'm not sure if it's some lockout by MSI or there's legit an issue with updating drivers...

This is the only version I have been able to find after searching all the retailer's here in Australia (Well the big retailer's, including boutique's)

Has anyone thought about replacing the display with the gs65 144hz display or similar? I’m interested in a panel swap if it’s possible, would make a really nice, light and smooth daily :)

I have a question that remained unanswered after a long google search session. I only find recommendations how to set IMON slope and offset for the 8750H to avoid the power limit.

I need the correct settings for the 8565U instead.

    8750H needs:
IMON Slope value change to 50.
IMON Offset value change to 31999.
    IMON Prefix to [-] (negative)

    But what needs the 8565U?

All this does is trick the CPU into reporting less wattage. It should be safe and compatible settings on all CPUs.
