Right after you mentioned you got yours (pre-Ordered)I was like... "Wut.. o_o" on the God of War thread post.

I Scoured the Internet forever searching for update then Kevin (I think or Ken) or, maybe not even them mentioned GentechPC had it for Pre-Orders. It took me a few days, but that was a month or so ago.

You should check that thread out again, I posted my other "Baby" in there lol.
But, yeah Pre-Ordered and ready to kick some butt!

Can't wait to see some reviews of this laptop! shame it's so much more expensive in australia... Is MSI's warranty international. Could i buy a machine overseas and get it repaired in australia if it was needed?

Thanks, so only one year international? that sucks... Actually the aussie version isn't too bad, it's got 2 x 256gb sdd's instead of 128gb. Plus computer alliance is offering a extra warranty, 3 years in total

LOL! Dang Ken! You do understand I am expecting my GT80S this week, right? Now if you are playing with Thomas & Friends, how is that gonna happen?

I am curious though, what kind of benchmarks have you run on that Fisher Price? And YES, I see that GT80S box in the picture..... IS THAT MY UNIT?

YOU ARE SUCH A TEASE KEN.... Are you playing with my unit? You are, aren't you? LOL!

It's pretty good. It has rail and I like it you can ride on it off the track too and you can add extra track! :) Max speed is 2 mph which is acceptable and safe. One thing I don't like about it is it took 18 hours to recharge the battery.

But anyway, here are some details and benchmarks I've done so far:

Yes temperature are even better than some of the GTX980M out there. The idle is super quiet and the fan starts to kick in while running FireStrike but not even loud.

Aren't those core clocks a little on the low side... like just about half of what they should be? Or is GPU-Z just reading them incorrectly? The performance numbers definitely don't seem to match up to those clocks. Can't wait until mine gets here!

If it's possible could you please measure the power consumption of the unit and check the clocks for the GPU's during benchmarking using MSI AB or GPU-Z sensors tab to see if it throttles? Thanks)

So far, going online I have seen multiple versions of the card. Some of the PCBs are customized to the specific chassis of the laptop. I've seen on some websites that the PCBs on the MXM GTX 980 are sometimes larger than the ones in the picture, but the larger PCBs are meant for single card use only and those are actually more overclockable. We will see however. :)
