If FPS is the draw here, then why no Doom 2016 under Vulkan?

Still hope this takes off I want me some MXM Navi.

Would love to get some customer feedback on these machines when you get them. I am just as interested in seeing how well these machines perform

This actually doesn't look bad as this may cause Intel/Nvidia variant laptops to go down in prices. Supposedly the 6-core 7nm from AMD is pushing for 12hr+ hour battery life, but we all know that a lot of factors can play into that as well and that wont come till maybe late November early January. Since the RX5500M is under 1660Ti and above a 1660Ti Max-Q & GTX 1650 in terms of performance its safe to say that this may be a good spot for entry level gaming/casual gamers and we all know the new 7nm Ryzen have better IPC. Either way we may see both variants Ryzen 7nm + Turing and Ryzen 7nm + Navi become more common in the upcoming year.

Indeed, I was shocked by the price for what you get!

This laptop may get interesting when AMD brings 6+ core CPUs to the mobile side of things.

The age of quad cores is long passed at this point.

For new 1k+ machines I would agree but I would still like to see quads in the budget arena.

Either as a backup machine or for when you fallen on hard times and still want to have something updated but not top of the line.
