    Howdy, MSI lounge!

I am rebuilding an MSI GS63VR-7RF laptop, and had to use an EVOC MS-16K2 motheboard.

Looking to update the BIOS, and MSI only provides the patch to do it in the BIOS, but EVOC cut that feature it would seem.

Any tips, or is there some Windows app I should use? I could flash it manually with the motherboard removed, but I'd like to do it a bit easier and safer.

Second issue, solved it myself (I forgot to plug in the Ethernet flat flex...)

@thewizzard1 Have you found a solution yet?
If not, you can give FPT a try.
It is platform dependent, but allows flashing the BIOS (and, depending on the setup, ME region as well as the flash descriptor) via DOS or Windows.

Which ME version are you currently running?
And are you comfortable flashing via a SPI-flasher (USB flasher + clip) if the BIOS you flashed turns out to be incompatible?
