Just got an MSI GS65 Stealth today. 9th gen i7 512 SSD and 8gb graphics. I recently sold all of my apple products and got a galaxy s10+ and surface pro.

I love this thing! I am just wondering how to avoid overheats. I use the laptop in bed alot, so what is the best way to keep it from overheating when I am in bed? So far I have been moving it to the desk when I want to play games.

Any advice? I have a little zip-up sleeve for the laptop that I had for my macbook pro, is there a small cooling element that I could fit in there, or at least put on my desk when I am gaming? Thanks guys! This thing is amazing!

Congrats! Placing the laptop on a hard surface while gaming (vs a blanket/duvet/legs) is corrrect (in terms of achieving optimal thermal performance).

Almost everyone in my family has one of these, they work pretty good and are reasonably comfy.

There are ones that also sit on their own legs and that too.

Also if you want something a little bigger there is this

I used to have one with a slide out keyboard tray and a monitor arm clamped onto it that I could roll up to my recliner.

Congrats on your new purchase. If you want to avoid overheating while using the system on the bed, you can actually set power plan to battery (low performance mode) thus results in reduced heat generation.
