HD Tune fails on the Storage Spaces software RAID 0 array exactly halfway through, however until that point, the results look identical to the above (which is a bit surprising, making me think Storage Spaces isn't much better than a JBOD implementation).

The benchmarks certainly seem anomalous to me. The pure CPU benchmarks are within expectations and improve upon the previous generation, as do the earlier GPU benchmarks. However, the latter GPU benchmarks substantially fall short of expectations with the new generation, and regress below Surface Pro 4 performance levels.

I have discussed current issues with the Surface Pro 2017 generation here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/cluster-of-surface-pro-2017-problems.807216/
There's also a benchmark comparison matrix there with the previous generation of Surface devices (Pro 4, Book/Intel, Book/nVIDIA, Book/nVIDIA Performance).

Please share your own results as well.
