I dont know which one to buy.
Spectre is just pure beauty. And very convenient to just flip over the screen to be in tablet mode.
Surface Book cannot fully close, is heavier but has graphics card, and detachable tablet. And you cannot just flip screen. You have to detach and put in screen the other way. And I dont like the hinge. It kinda looks ugly. And it is much more expensive.

I dont know what to do. What are your takes? Any input or opinion?

    Thanks for the help

How much do you value the larger, higher resolution screen on the Surface Book? The graphics card will be better (maybe just a little, maybe a lot, there are scant details) but it will be pushing more pixels as well.

I'm in the same boat as you deciding between the Surface Book and Spectre x360. I really like the versatility, the screen, and the pen of the Book. I like the hinge and the price of the x360. I'm waiting until some benchmarks come out to see if the dGPU is worth the premium.

I think it comes down to whether you want/need the PC to separate into the tablet mode. Also, how often are you going to be using the pen?

If you need the extra horsepower then wait for reviews of the surface book to see if its worth it to you , if not the spectre might be a better fit.
Like others have said if the dedicated GPU is good the surface book might be worth the premium price.

To me, the main appeal of the Surface Book is that it can be used as a tablet. When disconnected, it's light enough to replace an iPad. The Spectre x360 is to heavy in my opinion. Good for sales presentations, but not good for bed-time reading.

For the same perfs, SSD, RAM, spectre is "only" 1000 € less... no a bad choice, though less possibilities...
I hate to say the truth that microsoft thinks customer are FAT COWS.
