Just wondering if anyone else is seeing lag with the touchpad and/or keyboard. With the touchpad, it's a rubber-band effect where the pointer falls being especially with fast movements. With the keyboard, entries fall just slightly behind hitting a key.
I've read accounts of SB2s experiencing the issue, and mine started doing so this past weekend (purchase on 12/15/17). I don't know of anything that I installed that could be causing the issue. For some people, the problem happens when on battery life on the "Recommended" power slider setting, and moving to "Battery Saver" or "Better Performance" fixes it. On mine, it happens either plugged in or on battery, and I haven't noticed a correlation with the power slider setting.
Just wanted to see if anyone here is seeing the problem.

If not, tweaking your NVMe drive's Message limit might improve things a little bit. I only recommend if you know what you're doing.
Another cause might be older updates being cleaned up in background, disable hibernate and tweak page file usage as well.
Are you using NVMe SSD or SATA SSD? -
I've applied Microsoft's mitigation that bypasses Intel's microcode for Spectre Variant 2 that was causing problems for many systems, and now I do think things might be improved. I'm hopeful at this point that all of my recent performance issues were due to the patches/firmware update and that they'll therefore be at least partially resolved. -
